The plan consists of small scale housing area and it makes new interpretation for pair houses and single family houses in a fairly dense area. Planning area is located approximately one kilometer from center of Kangasala. The goal was to create an urban, but secure and child friendly living environment. The jury praised the plan for its new innovative housing solutions. “The houses have personal character and they form strong identity to the area.”
